Avoid low ink coverage (<10%) vector gradients. In case of other gradients, send them rasterized in 300 dpi.

Bright colors should not be left overprint, but always set to knock-out. If we set a white object to overprint, the machine will try to „print” the color of the paper on the print, ie. the so designed graphic element will not appear on the print. In case of black texts do not use color black of 4 colors and it is recommendable to set the overprint as well (this is automatically done by the machine over 90% saturation, though).

If you want to print black surface it is recommended to use setting c: 20m:20y:20k:100, but you must consult with the machine operator.

As for overloaded pages, we ask for a 3-3 mm bleed for the graphics.

If possible, please submit the material in pdf format as we cannot take any responsability for open source files like corel, ai, psd.

Die-cut can be submitted in several ways:

  1. You can place it directly on the material to be printed as an overprinted spot color, vectorized, in order for us to remove it, if required
  2. On a separate page within the pdf file
  3. In a separate file

Note: the trim size of the document and the size of the die-cut should match!

Receiving material: CD, DVD, USB drive, e-mail, ftp. Accepted file formats: PS, PDF.

In case of materials uploaded on ftp servers, please contact us by phone or e-mail.

Open documents can be processed for operator fee. In case of these materials please attach the used font and pictures.  In case of vectorgraphical programs please curve the font.

Please specify the final sizes of materials submitted as images (TIFF, JPEG, PSD) and if lighting is required, the pictures/images must be CMYK, 300 dpi.

The most important information regarding the submission of PS and PDF files:

  • Both must include fonts (embedded fonts)
  • Please provide the pages with a cut mark (folding, perforation marks, if needed)!
  • The size of the source file should match with the actual trim size.
  • Please send us Level 2 PS files, if possible.
  • Please avoid accents when naming the files.
  • In case of PDF, please avoid the directly exported PDF files from the program as it may cause unexpected results. Always send PDF files that are distilled with High Quality from PS files. The PDF files that are exported directly will be accepted only at the risk of the customer, e.g: PDF Library, QuarkXPress PDF, Corel Engine, PDF Maker.
  • In case of CMYK material please avoid the use of the ICC profile
  • Separate pages should not be saved to a separate file per color (especially in case of  pages to be placed)
  • Please save each page in standing position, do not rotate the pages.
  • In case of bleed elements we need at least 3 mm overload.
  • As for materials to print or place, please attach a B&W proof print.
  • We are able to process both separated and composite materials, but please avoid mixing the two within the same material.
  • Please convert the spot colors into CMYK. The material should only contain the colors that will be printed. Extra spot colors should be converted within the CMYK color system.
  • If you want a screen printing film or a negative film, please prepare your files without reflecting  and without changing them into negatives. Please also indicate your requirement!
  • Saving can be done in sessions. If the material does not contain the blank pages, please indicate them!
  • The pages should be saved as solo pages and not as spread pages.
  • In case of composite pages the CTP/film are made with black overprint. Please let us know, if you wish otherwise!

In case of A3 size images please use 300 dpi resolution, the texts should be vectorized and not rasterize.

Spot colors can be separated by the machine, but it is more secure if the customer carries out the cymk separation.

In case of pictures we achieve a better result by using the RGB color system (especially in the darker parts of the picture), otherwise we prefer the CMYK color space.

In case of clear toner varnish we need a 100% covered spot colored object set to overprint within the pdf file. The name of the spot color should be PANTONE GLOSS. You can checked the information on overprint setting in the Overprint preview menu within Acrobat.

In case of ofset printing please send us CMYK material without ICC profile.

Use Pantone color only in case of printing an extra color. We can receive the UV varnish as a 100% saturated color if this is on the material as an over printed spot color. In other cases (eg. on a separate pdf page or in a separate document) we can receive it as a 100% saturated color. The trim size of the files belonging to the UV varnish and to the print (trim box) should match!

In case of large posters it is enough to send/submit files with 150 dpi resolution (1:1). We accept images as well, but not with jpg compression. Use only lossless compression! As we must separate the spot colors when printing, it will be better, if this is done by a graphic professional.

It is enough to submit the trim size. We do not need bleed. Individual materials where the customer requires a print at the margins are an exception! We used to prepare the welding, and pther prepare, the customer should provide a description only.
